for Sustainable Resources
Faculty Development Institutes
The Northwest Center for Sustainable Resources sponsored many faculty development institutes which have been attended by educators from around the nation interested in natural resources and environmental science-based programs. These Institutes were funded through the National Science Foundation's Advanced Technological Education Program.
Past topics included fire ecology, land use, wetlands management and marine fisheries. Institutes are no longer offered through the NCSR due to lack of funding. Curriculum materials on all of the above topics are still available from our website.
